Millions tune in to see the Queen of Baking share her culinary wisdom each week on The Great British Bake Off – but how much do you really know about judge and food writer Mary Berry?

In addition to a renewed interest in the delights of baking a perfectly formed game pie, thanks to the Bake Off we are also a nation well-versed in the traumas of soggy bottoms and collapsing ‘choux nuns’.

Hailing from Bath, no one figure represents the contemporary affection for all things baking more than television presenter and prolific food writer, Mary Berry. Along with judge Paul Hollywood, Mary has set 27 challenges to the bakers taking part in series 7 of The Great British Bake Off, from pastry and bread to chocolate and meringue.

We feel it is time to put that love for the Queen of Baking to the test and find out how much you really know about Mary.
