As the biggest night in the north west culinary calendar fast approaches, we are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for the Lancashire Life and Cheshire Life Food & Drink Awards is the JUMP Children’s Charity.

During this glittering evening, on October 28, we’ll be raising funds to help the charity, which provides a professional photography service for children with life-limiting health conditions to capture unique and special memories for them and their loved ones.

FOR A FABULOUS EVENING OF FOOD & DRINK please call Linda or Katie on 01925 661904

Each child receives a package to suit their needs, either as a memory photo book or a DVD of a special occasion. JUMP, launched by caring people in the north west, provides a service capturing positive images to uplift a child when they may be suffering. They are cherished by the children and can provide everlasting positive memories for parents and siblings. It has drawn support from high profile figures such as Sir Alex Ferguson.

The charity was inspired by the life of Jacob Hawthorn, a Warrington lad born with congenital muscular dystrophy in June 2000. He died aged just three but during that time his family had taken many photographs and video footage of his achievements and activities. These formed a special record which he greatly enjoyed during his short life.

If you would like to support JUMP and have a great night celebrating the north west’s culinary stars, tickets for the Lancashire Life and Cheshire Life Food & Drink Awards, sponsored by Robinson’s, of Stockport, are now on sale. Tickets are limited so you’ll need to reserve places to avoid disappointment.

Individual tickets are £75 each (inc. VAT) or there are tables of ten for £700. The price includes a welcome drink and canapés and a four-course dinner with wine at Manchester’s Hilton Deansgate.

To book, call Linda Chase on 01925 661912 or email her at linda.chase@archant.co.uk . Dress code is black tie.
