North West Food and Drink Awards 2015

Archant

Judges were looking for a restaurant in Manchester city centre which offered the best dining experience including food, décor and service.

Winner: Fazenda

This chandelier-hung venue brings a new standard of glamour to the idea of a steak restaurant. The food at this South American churrascaria is first class and there’s some impressive theatre to the presentation of it all. This restaurant has tableside carvings of 15 different prime cuts of superb rotary-grilled meat. But just when you think it couldn’t get better, you notice the salad bar. It’s the envy of many a vegetarian restaurant. It’s a capital ‘F’ for fabulous.

Highly commended: Albert’s Didsbury

Highly commended: Hawksmoor Manchester
