Dick Whittington

Dick Whittington has fabulous costumes, glitz and glamour, silliness and slapstick and hit songs to sing along to. This pantomime appeals to ALL the family, from kids to not-so-grown-up grown-ups. A great way to celebrate Christmas with friends and family.

Elf the Musical

The movie Elf has become a modern classic for Christmas family viewing, and there is now a stage adaptation of the 2003 film. Starring TV and West End ‘Superstar’ Ben Forster reprising his role as Buddy alongside Liz McClarnon as Jovie, Louis Emerick as Santa Claus, Joe McGann as Walter and Jessica Martin as Emily Hobbs.

25th November – 20th January

The Everyman Rock 'n' Roll panto The Little Mermaid

An adaptation of the Little Mermaid comes to the Everyman Theatre this festive season with a hilarious comical twist, from writers Sarah A Nixon and Mark Chatterton. Legendary comedy duo Adam Keast and Francis Tucker take centre stage accompanied by a live band. Be prepared for a night full of laughter, cheering, and the ‘beast’ panto around.

2nd December - 29th December

Dick Whittington

One of everybody’s favourite fairytale pantomimes, Dick Whittington, comes to Lancaster Grand Theatre this December. Expect all the traditional ingredients of a pantomime including lots of singing, dancing, comedy and of course some spectacular costumes and surprises. Make sure you book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

This years cast includes JJ Hamblett  (Union J) who will star as Prince Charming, Melanie Walters (Gavin and Stacey) as Fairy Godmother, Olivia Birchenough (Channel 5’s Milkshake) as the beautiful Cinderella and Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph returning as the Ugly Sisters all starring alongside panto favourite the incredible Steve Royle (BBC Radio Lancashire) who will be making his 15th annual appearance starring as ‘Buttons’.

Go on a magical carpet ride this Christmas in Preston with their pantomime, Aladdin. Comedian Phil Walker will write, direct and star in the performance as Aladdin’s brother Wishee Washee, and he will be joined by Carl Tracey as the hero Aladdin and Stacey McClean as Princess Jasmine. Will the defeat the evil sorcerer Abanazar?

Dick Whittington

Manchester’s Opera House Theatre will be the home to the classic Dick Whittington this December. It will include an all star line up featuring John Barrowman in the lead role and and The Krankies. Peter Pan

A magical journey to Neverland, will be kicking of the Opera Houses’ 2017 Christmas season this festive period. The show has a spectacular cast behind it including Jennifer Ellison, Maureen Nolan and X Factor’s Jake Quickenden in the title role.
