Sleeping Beauty

Fine Time Fontayne stars as the wicked Queen Carabosse, who puts an evil spell on beautiful Princess Rose. A handsome prince is needed to break the spell with true love’s kiss, as pantomime returns to Oldham.

Beauty & the Beast

An adaptation of the traditional fairytale Beauty & the Beast comes to the Everyman Theatre this festive season with a hilarious comical twist, from writers Sarah A Nixon and Mark Chatterton. Legendary comedy duo Adam Keast and Francis Tucker take centre stage accompanied by a live band. Be prepared for a night full of laughter, cheering, and the ‘beast’ panto around.

ENB Nutcracker

One of our favourite Christmas stories returns to the Liverpool Empire Theatre this Christmas as over one hundred dancers and musicians will be bringing the dazzling Nutcracker alive on stage. International choreographer Wayne Eagling will be accompanied by the stunning sounds of the English National Ballet Philharmonic. Nutcracker is a satisfyingly magical Christmas treat sure to get you in festive spirits.

This traditional Christmas family pantomime is sure to leave you feeling festive as it will have you singing, dancing and of course booing. The Pendle Productions adaptation of Sinbad is full of thrills and excitement for all ages as they invite you to come and set sail on a fantastic voyage.

One of everybody’s favourite fairytale pantomimes, Cinderella, comes to Lancaster Grand Theatre this December. Expect all the traditional ingredients of a pantomime including lots of singing, dancing, comedy and of course some spectacular costumes and surprises. Make sure you book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Horrible Christmas

Part of the Horrible Histories franchise, Horrible Christmas returns to The Lowry Theatre this December. Expect the usual gruesome antics as the show explores the history of Christmas with a hilarious yet moving tale. There will even be some special guests including King Henry VIII, Charles Dickens and everybody’s favourite festival animal, Rudolph.

Manchester’s Opera House Theatre will be the home to the classic and ‘genie-us’ panto Aladdin this December. It will include an all star line up featuring Loose Women’s Sherrie Hewson as the legendary genie and one of Manchester’s best loved actors John Thomson as the evil Abanazar. Aladdin is sure to be packed full of family festive fun and one of Manchester’s highlights this Christmas.

Great Expectations

The Charles Dickens’ classic story, Great Expectations, will be kicking of the Opera Houses’ 2016 Christmas season this festive period. This vibrant musical and classic tale  is guaranteed to leave you feeling full of Christmas spirit

Jack and the Beanstalk

Phil Walker returns to the Guild Hall this year with local singer Charlotte Dalton in the lead role in Jack and the Beanstalk.

Joining them on stage as our fairy will be Linda Nolan of The Nolans, and Ian Good as Dame Trott and Marvyn Dickinson from CBBC’s Class Dismissed as the Giants evil henchmen Fleshcreep.
