A candlelit service for Advent Sunday , celebrating the light which Christ brings into the world. Choir and Clergy move in procession from ‘darkness to light’.

A superb mix of traditional Christmas music and carols from Liverpool schools, choirs and bands.

Christmas Music 'Celebrate a Liverpool Life'
Hosted by Roger Phillips, performances from the Liverpool Philharmonic Choir, lauded operatic soloist Kathryn Rudge and a special performance from St Mary's Preparatory School Show Choir. This is an excellent start to the Christmas season.

The Alder Centre, part of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, offers support to anyone affected by the death of a child. Children’s names are read out and there are specially-chosen readings and music.

Hear the Christmas story told through motets and plainsong, with texts in the recital all taken from the Bible, ancient liturgies and meditations.

In aid for ‘Cash for Kids’. A full programme of fun and festive songs and carols with children’s choirs and guests.

Some of the most talented schools from the city will perform this year’s Carols by Candlelight Concert in support of the NPSCC, featuring Liverpool Signing Choir, Wirral Schools Band, and The Circle of Voices Gospel Choir.
