Laurie Hopkins Menswear was founded in 1987 by Laurie who had for the previous 30 years worked within the Uk menswear sector. Starting as an apprentice Tailor and Cutter.

Laurie later moved into Menswear retail and was for the last 15 years, prior to setting out on his own, a Director for one of the Major UK multiple mens and ladieswear companies. His primary focus during this time was the buying of menswear for the companies 30+ stores and the overseeing of its tailoring and made to measure facilities based in Leeds.
Almost 20 years ago, Laurie branched out on his own and started Laurie Hopkins Menswear here in Lindley, Huddersfield. Right from the start his mission was to provide quality menswear at competetive prices with a level of service that was second to none. Today, those values and qualaties are still very much the ethos for Laurie Hopkins Menswear.
