Is there a pot of gold lying just over the hill? There may not be, but these photos do display the treasured landscape of our county,

It always seems to rain in Lancashire but we are known to get a bit of sunshine, when those two elements come together you can be lucky enough to catch a rainbow.

Over the years, our readers have managed to capture these moments when they are out and about in the countryside and in our towns and villages.

We’ve even got a man-made rainbow in the form of the laser-light art installation that graced the Preston Docks as part of the Guild celebrations in 2012.

Why don’t you upload your rainbow photos to the Lancashire Life reader photo gallery?
