Occupying the original Spinning Block, the new 1823 Bar & Grill at Holmes Mill is the latest, and most spectacular, addition to the James’ Places collection of Ribble Valley hotels, bars and restaurants.

And what an addition it is….

Most restaurants have a bar of one sort or another. Not many restaurants have a bar like this. It’s big, it’s beautiful, it’s simple, stylish and also superbly well stocked. For morning coffee to aperitifs, cocktails and nightcaps the Bar at the Bar & Grill is worthy of a visit on it’s own!

With the Bowland Food Hall for a larder The Grill has free access to the best and the freshest ingredients to be found in the North West. The meats are sourced from Bowland and Lancashire, and the seafood comes to us from Fleetwood, Lancaster and the markets at Manchester. Seasonal fruit and vegetables are sourced from the farms of the flat lands of West Lancashire.

The restaurant philosophy is really quite straight-forward. We take the finest ingredients, treat them with care and respect and deliver simply stunning dishes each and every time.

At the Bar & Grill we expect the service to match the mood – friendly but efficient, unobtrusive but responsive. Whether it’s a quiet table for two at lunch or a great big celebratory dinner we’re sure you’ll find the ambience perfect and the service spot on.

Book online at https://www.holmesmill.co.uk/bistro-bar-grill/or call us on 01200 407111 to reserve a table.
