More than £20,500 was raised at a charity ball held at Castle Green Hotel, Kendal.

The evening, organised by Liz Nelson and Jackie Holmes, raised money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, where Jackie was an ex-patient and Liz’s niece, Maria, is currently undergoing radiotherapy.

Rob Falcon and the Seal entertained 255 guests at the sold out evening which was enjoyed by all.
