The nominations for the 2014 Lancashire Life Hotel of the Year Award. The winner announced at the Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester, on Monday October 27th 2014
Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village, Wrea Green
Far from run-of-the-mill, this hotel has been transformed with luxurious accommodation and outstanding facilities. The brasserie gets many plaudits for the exceptional service and high standard of food created by head chef Michael Noonan and his team.
Hipping Hall, Cowan Bridge
A winner several years back and once again back to its best. It is set in eye-wateringly beautiful surroundings where Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire meet. While the hall is ancient the restaurant is modern with 3 AA Rosette dining and luxuriously appointed rooms.
The Midland Hotel, Morecambe
This most iconic of Lancashire hotels is an art deco classic with a guest book including royalty and Hollywood legends and murals by the legendry Eric Gill. During restoration 44 boutique-style bedrooms were created and public rooms have stunning bay views.
