Established in 1970 by the Gornall family, Honeywell’s has grown from strength-to-strength. Outgrowing their barn space in 2003, they moved into a purpose-built farm shop which sells a huge range of locally produced meats from the butchery, over 100 styles of cheese and other goodies in the delicatessen.

In season, go for locally shot game including Lancashire Moor grouse and pheasant and partridge from Dunsop. Set in a secluded spot on the banks of the River Hodder within the Duchy of Lancaster’s Estate, you’ll also be rewarded with terrific views over the beautiful Forest of Bowland.
