Established in the 1930's by Harry Greaves, H. Greaves & Son is one of the North West leading suppliers of high quality meat and meat products to both the wholesale trade and retail customers.

Based in Up Holland, Lancashire as well as a brand new shop at Carr Hall Home & Garden Centre, Wilpshire in the Ribble Valley they have developed and enviable reputation and highly loyal customer base.

The business has continued to expand and supplies top quality meats to many of the North West's leading restaurants, hotels and catering establishments including such places as Northcote Manor run by the Michelin Star Chef, Nigel Howarth, Stanley House, the Inn at Whitewell, the Corporation Arms at Longridge, The Grand Hotel at Lytham St Annes and The Tate Gallery, Liverpool

This traditional business was developed and extended by Harrys son, Anthony, and is now run by his grandchildren Clare, Robert and Christopher. They continue to supply an extensive range of Beef, Lamb, Pork and Poultry as well as an array of home-made products such as black pudding, sausages, Lancashire air dried ham and Pancetta.

While Robert and Christopher look after the butchery, alongside you will find Clare's Kitchen, a highly successful outside catering business run by Clare

It is the aim of our business to provide our customers with top quality produce and service ensuring that the highest standards are attained from receiving the carcass, through cutting and packing to delivery. The source and provenance of our products are of utmost importance to us. Most of our meat has been sourced from the same local farmers and producers for many years. This gives us a consistently high quality and ensures that we are supplying only the best.

We also use specialist meats such as salt marsh and Lonk lambs and Bowland Beef from the Trough of Bowland and the protected designation of origin Manx Loaghtan Lamb from the Isle of Man.
