The Seafood Pub Company was founded by Joycelyn Neve in 2010, with a vision to deliver the best quality ingredients but in relaxed and accessible way. Part of the Neve family with roots in the fishing industry going back generations. Joycelyn’s father Chris Neve uses his unrivalled experience to source the finest quality produce from sea and shore. Behind the scenes is Executive Chef Antony Shirley who has over 18 years experience of producing quality creative dishes from the very best produce. Outstanding surroundings are delivered by Executive Chairman Andrew McLean who takes care of the developments, his wealth of experience gives all the venues their individual looks and wow factor. A passionate and committed team throughout means the Seafood Pub company offers a unique dining experience at venues across the North West.

Town Green Brasserie

The Town Green Brasserie in Aughton offers a friendly atmosphere to diners, whether they are meeting for coffee and cake with friends, enjoying a special family dinner or cocktails at the bar.

The Town Green Brasserie is inspired by the relaxed style of French eateries, and guests are welcomed by features including a bronze bar, French gold light fittings and antique mirrors on the walls. Oak flooring is complemented by black and white chequerboard tiles.

The brasserie serves an extensive range of wines, beers, cocktails and spirits and a locally sourced menu.

Seafood features heavily on the new menu, selected by renowned Fleetwood fish expert Chris Neve. The best of British produce is used to ensure high levels of quality and consistency. The menu also includes daily changing specials.

Popular dishes on the main menu include king prawn and chorizo skewer, saffron paella, sweet peppers and sherry, peppered tuna steak with creamed spinach and parmesan fries, and 28 day dry-aged Lancashire grass fed beef with watercress, onion rings, proper chips and pepper sauce. The menu also features a salads, sandwiches and pasta section.

Food is served from breakfast through to the evening, seven days a week, with a lunch club menu and coffee and cake offering also available during the day. The lunch club menu is available Monday to Saturday, 12:00 – 5:00pm and includes a main meal from the lunch club menu with a small glass of wine, beer or a soft drink plus coffee for £11.50. Dishes on the lunch club menu at the Town Green Brasserie include fish and chips with mushy peas, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toasted English muffins and penne with chargrilled chicken, pesto and slow roast cherry tomatoes. For diners who need to get back to work, the lunch club menu can be pre-ordered to be ready on arrival.

The extensive range of cocktails includes martinis and margaritas, champagne and sparkling cocktails and seasonal cocktails, including weekly specials. Bar loyalty cards are also available, entitling drinkers to a free pint when they have received seven stamps on their card.

The Town Green Brasserie caters for up to 70 diners and can be booked for private parties, corporate events and functions. The venue also has free Wi-Fi for customers.

The venue also features an outside dining area with heated and covered seating areas for customers, meaning they can dine outside whatever the temperature or weather.

The Assheton Arms, Downham, Clitheroe.

Winner of a number of awards, including Lancashire Life Dining Pub of the Year, in Lancashire Tourism Awards Pub of the Year and Ribble Valley Tourism Team of the Year, this historic Grade II listed village pub is in the untouched conservation village of Downham.Boasting stunning views of Pendle Hill, bedrooms and rental cottages will be available from Autumn 2014. This traditional country inn, perfect for family meals out, comes alive in the evening, with a great atmosphere created by our drinkers and diners.

The Farmers Arms, Great Eccleston.

Where better to sample the best seafood in Lancashire than on the idyllic Fylde Coast? The Fylde Coast is home to Chris Neve, who uses his 40 years of experience of the fishing industry to source the finest quality produce from the sea for our dishes.

The Farmers Arms, in the picturesque market village of Great Eccleston, combines an ambient pub, private dining, two dining floors and a courtyard for outside dining.

The Oyster & Otter, Livesey Branch Rd, Feniscowles, Blackburn.

The ‘New England’ style wood-planked walls and decking leads into a stylish open plan interior with bright contemporary décor. This neighbourhood restaurant and bar, with live music and entertainment nights, private function facilities and a takeaway service is conveniently located close to the M65 making it the ideal meeting place. The Derby Arms, Longridge.

This striking village pub and restaurant, located between Longridge and Chipping, features a central bar leading into three relaxed dining rooms, two with feature fireplaces. An atmospheric tap room is set aside for bar games whilst an outside seating area is perfect for al fresco drinks in the countryside. For guests looking to make the most of their visit, there are six elegant country bedrooms available.
