The Orchid Weekend on 26th and 27th January, at Beetham Nurseries on the A6 near Milnthorpe is guaranteed to brighten up a dreary January weekend; there will be stunning displays and a vast selection for sale.

On Sun 27th Sara Rittershausen of multiple Chelsea Gold Medal Winners Burnham Nurseries in Devon, will give talks on 'Top Tips for the Beginner' and 'Unusual & Easy to Grow Orchids'.

For the young people, meet the birds: Spotty and Woody, two friendly little owls, indoors in the Nursery each day 11am-2.30pm.

After being dazzled with a vibrant burst of colour, you may enjoy delicious home made food in the Cafe.
