Our readers share their photos of Silverdale and the surrounding area.

It’s easy to see why Victorian novelist Elizabeth Gaskell took her holidays in Silverdale and wrote some of her best-selling novels here.

In more modern times, nearby Leighton Moss RSPB Nature Reserve attracts more than 100,000 visitors a year and the surrounding area, especially Jenny Brown’s Point, is a haven for walkers searching for views across Morecambe Bay.

Why don’t you upload your photos of Silverdale to the reader photo gallery?

All images uploaded to the website will be entered into the 2016 Lancashire Life reader photo competition and we pick the best ones to go into the magazine each month.
