More than 150 guests, including the Mayor of Bolton Elaine Sherrington and Mayoress Samantha Sherrington, attended the glamorous fundraising gala ball at the Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa in Bolton.

The event was held to raise money for Backup, a charity that accommodates and supports young homeless people aged 16-25 years of age, specifically those who are struggling with mental health issues or domestic abuse issues. The evening raised an incredible £24,123 which will go towards continuing to support the hard work of the charity. Guests enjoyed entertainment from Soul and Motown sensation Diane Shaw and her band as well as an opening performance by the Yorkshire Volunteer Corps of Drums.
