Patient support charity CancerCare hosted a ball in celebration of their 30th anniversary.
The Diamonds & Pearls themed event was held at the iconic Midland Hotel in Morecambe and raised over £32,000. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception followed by a three course dinner with live music.
An auction included a Solitaire half carat diamond ring and Cartier Pearl Earrings. Guests included Professor Malcolm McIllmurray, a retired local oncologist who founded the charity, and Lord and Lady Shuttleworth, patron and life president.
