A fundraising event to raise money for a community rugby club was a sell-out success. Fylde Ladies hosted their first ‘Fylde does Strictly’ evening with a rugby glitter ball for the trophy. After 12 weeks of training, eight amateur dancers, all either players or committee members of the rugby club, paired up with professionals and performed in front of judges

Marie Cavney, Anthony John, Alison Young and Phil Walker, who had all come straight from rehearsals of Cinderella in Preston. Visitors were invited to place pound coins in a container for their favourite to win, raising over £4,000.
