The four-star Inn on the Lake in Glenridding has played host to two fabulous fashion shows in 2017, raising more than £500 for their charity of the year, Blood Bikes Cumbria.

The second of the shows was held in the hotel’s AA Rosette Lake View restaurant, where 57 ladies gathered to see collections from Whalley-based Maureen Cookson Ltd. This was followed by an afternoon tea and a raffle.

General manager, Gary Wilson, said: ‘It’s always a great pleasure to raise money for such deserving causes. Our next big event is our annual Royal Ascot Ladies Race Day on June 22, where £10 from each ticket sale and money raised from the raffle will also go to Blood Bikes Cumbria.’
