One of Lancashire’s long-established sporting clubs has celebrated the start of its centenary season with a special dinner. Wigan RUFC, founded in 1913, is an integral part of the town’s sporting history as well as providing the modern trappings of the game in the 21st century at its Douglas Valley base.

This was reflected in the guest list which included RFU President, Bob Reeves, as the main speaker.
