Guests were given the chance to experience the food, service and ambience of the recently-launched Poaka Beck Restaurant at the Chequers Hotel in Dalton-in-Furness.

Nestled in the south Lakes, the restaurant is in what was a boys’ school back in the 1860s and this has influenced the layout and decor of the restaurant, which gets its name from the stream that once ran past the building.
