A fabulous evening ball was held at Briars Hall, Burscough, to raise money for Queenscourt Hospice in Southport.

Guests were greeted with a champagne reception, before enjoying a three course meal followed by entertainment which featured live singing and a silent auction, which helped to raise £5,873. Prizes included two tickets for a box at Liverpool Football Club and signed football shirts from both Merseyside clubs.
The ball was organised by the Beesley family whose mother Pauline was cared for at Queenscourt.
