The 1969 Rossendale Squadron Air Training Corps, part of the Cumbria and Lancashire Wing, welcomed over 100 guests to their annual Squadron Awards evening.

Held at Rossendale Masonic Hall, cadets were presented with trophies and certificates to celebrate their achievements. Guests were entertained during the evening with a range of musical performances including Veterans in the Community singing group and local six-piece soul band, Twisted Soul.

Squadron Leader Kevin Dolan, who spoke on behalf of the Squadron Commander, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome so many parents, members of the community and staff to our annual Squadron Awards Evening. We are all very proud of the cadets and here’s to an even better 2016.’
