The Soroptimists International of St. Helens celebrated their 70th anniversary with a dinner at the new Langtree Park Stadium. The guest speaker was BBC North West reporter Dave Guest who had recently covered a high-profile human trafficking case in region.

Next day, members and officials went to St Helens town centre to help launch the UN Gift Box scheme. This is touring the country to raise awareness of trafficking. If you wish to know more or to host the Giftbox in your town t go to www.stopthetraffik.org/campaign/giftbox.
