Parents, friends and staff at Abbey Village Primary School dusted off their ra-ra skirts, legwarmers and bright neon lycra to attend a 1980s themed fundraiser in aid of the school.

Parents, friends and staff at Abbey Village Primary School dusted off their ra-ra skirts, legwarmers and bright neon lycra to attend a 1980s themed fundraiser in aid of the school.

130 guests boogied the night away at St Chads Parish Centre in Whittle-le-Woods and helped raised more than 1,900 towards school funds, equipment and resources.

Entertainment was provided by Ruby and the Rouges a band who played a range of classic hits and up-to-date pieces.
