These two seaside locations will be familiar to many people, but how well do you know them?

We were going to produce a quiz about Blackpool, but given that the Golden Mile is one of the most famous resorts in the country, we thought that would be too easy.

A few miles north of Blackpool, at the northwest corner of the Fylde, is Fleetwood. The former fishing village is the home of the famous Fishermans Friend lozenges and the birthplace of opera star Alfie Boe.

Morecambe can boast of similar claims for fame in the food and entertainment fields as the bay is renowned for its shrimp industry and is the birthplace of Eric Morecambe, one of the most prominent comedians twentieth century Britain.

Both resorts have everything a typical seaside town should have, a beach, promenade and even a lighthouse. But can you tell the difference?

How many did you guess correctly? Share and challenge your friends to beat your score.
