Art lovers headed to Heskin, near Chorley, to see the opening of Michael Ashcrofts first solo exhibition.
The exhibition was staged by Hepplestone Fine Art, marking another milestone in the career of this talented Lancashire painter. During this summer, Michael was also appearing on BBCs Show me the Monet programme.
Regular readers of Lancashire Life will know that Michael has developed a large following for the quality of his work after battling against a brain tumour which was diagnosed when he was just 28.
Croston-born Michael rediscovered his love of art during 12 months off work following surgery, Guests at Hepplestones were able to see many of his recent works.
