River Deep Mountain High Outdoor Activities provides a range of adventure sports in the Lake District. We specialise in fun for families, group adventures and team away days.

You can chose from Gorge Walking, Abseiling, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Canoeing, Biking, Sailing, Scrambling or Archery to do your half day, full day, weekend or week of outdoor activities in the Lake District.

Outdoor activities and sports are the best way to get out and experience an adventure in the Lake District. Whether your level of adventure is stepping off dry land or stepping off a 20ft pool jump, we have a wide range of activities that we provide in the south of the Lake District between Eskdale, Coniston, Ambleside and Windermere. So whether it is as part of your holiday, weekend away or group event, we are sure our outdoor activities will be a highlight of your trip.

Everyone is welcome - no need for prior experience.

We specialise in making all our outdoor adventure experiences the best combination of route, content and equipment. For example, we make our gorge walks maximum fun and challenge by being directly in the water from the start and including jumps and slides, and we provide wetsuits as standard so that youre getting stuck in rather than thinking about the cold.

We feel that the world of outdoor activities, with quality equipment and service, is a pleasurable active way to enjoy the beautiful landscape we are blessed with living in the midst of.

Our multi activity weekends include a mixture of exciting and popular outdoor activities. We send directions to meeting points and kit lists in advance and we provide high quality equipment, yummy hot chocolate and friendly instructors.

Family activity bundles coordinate activities that your family can experience altogether, for your week or two week Lake District family holiday. Adventure Days combine our brilliant activities to create exciting journeys.
