The search is on for the region's leading businesswomen. For ten years, the Enterprise Vision Awards have been trailblazers in highlighting the achievements and successes of the North West's women in business. This year, there are 19 categories to enter, and a platform for every type of business; large or small, sole traders or multi-national organisations, young entrepreneurs to silverpreneurs.

Lancashire Life are once again media partners for the event and the organisers are planning to make EVAs2020 the biggest and most spectacular celebration of women in business this decade.

Founder, Coral Horn said: 'The EVAs bring together women from businesses types and sizes. The show of support from colleagues, customers, family, friends and even competitors is a fabulous thing to behold. 'The buzz of excitement extends beyond the region with viewers across the world watching the live ceremony. If you know an amazing woman who you think deserves to be recognised for her outstanding work, nominate her now, it will make her day!'

Returning as the EVA's headline sponsor for the eighth consecutive year is NatWest Bank plc. Heather Waters, Enterprise Manager at NatWest, said: 'It has been a privilege to be part of the EVA's journey over the last decade.

At NatWest, we believe women have a key role to play in the wider business community. We are delighted to sponsor the EVAs and see first-hand some of the great things that are already being done by women in the region.'

To celebrate the EVAs tenth anniversary, ten charities will be highlighted, helping them to raise awareness of their cause as well as fundraising. In 2018, Caroline Stevenson of Foodinate was awarded the EVAs Inspirational Woman of the Year. This year, the EVAs have become a Foodinate event, with a donation from every ticket going to provide tasty meals for vulnerable people in the area.

The 2020 Enterprise Vision Awards are open to all businesswomen in the North West. Free EVAs information events are being held where entrants can find out how to be the next EVA winner. The winners will be announced at the 2020 Enterprise Vision Awards ceremony and presentation dinner which will take place on Friday September 25th at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
