One of the original and most popular fundraising events in support of The Willowbrook Hospice was a ladies’ lunch staged at Knowsley Hall. It was attended by more than 140 loyal supporters.

This group started fundraising even before the work began on constructing the hospice, which is at Prescot and serves the surrounding areas of St Helens and Knowsley. Since then it has become one of the most eagerly-awaited events in the hospice social calendar, raising in excess of £100,000 over the years.
